H. Shane Darrisaw

Shane has been in the banking industry for over 14 years and has done it all from originations to management to support. In his career he has worked for 3 of the top banks in the nation. He has managed and consulted in the area of multi-cultural markets as a middle and senior manager helping banks increase their market share in this area. Prior to entering the banking industry, Shane served as general manager and later as a district manager for a major furniture chain and went on to manage for a major finance company where his primary responsibility was analyzing and extending credit. Shane believes it is his life’s mission to educate the under served on credit management, home buyer education , financial literacy and engage critical thinking so that they can realize the “American Dream” which is economic empowerment and achieve the desires of their heart.

Shane, holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and received his undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University concentrating on management, marketing and finance. Shane is a retired Armed Forces Veteran serving 21 years in the U.S. Army Reserves and National Guard before retiring at the rank of Major. It is his education and military training coupled with his experience in banking gained while working for Wells Fargo, Washington Mutual and SunTrust Banks, Inc. that gave him the experience to excel in the corporate world and the knowledge to effectively convey the consumers expressed needs.

Shane is a member of the 100 Black Men of America Inc., NAACP, Urban League, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and a board member of the local Boys and Girls Club in Riviera Beach FL.  His experience, savvy and passion are the reasons why you will want him as your trusted advisor when dealing with the banking industry. John Little

 

John Little brings more than 15 years of management experience and over $50 million in funded mortgages to the Empowerment Consortium.  Since entering the mortgage business in Atlanta, GA in 2002, John has been a champion for first time home buyers and a consistent participant in conducting home buyer education and financial literacy courses.  Upon relocating to Miami, FL in 2005, John expanded his role into the private sector, conducting trainings, seminars and preparing corporate and consumer curriculum for Washington Mutual Home Loans and SunTrust Mortgage.

 

A published author of 'Control Your Credit Destiny', A Guide to Credit & Personal Finance, John is an accomplished & dynamic professional speaker with memberships in the Florida Speakers Association and National Speakers Association.  In addition he is a member of the Realtor Association of Greater Ft. Lauderdale, NAACP, NAREB, the South Florida Board of Realtists and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.  John is a graduate of Winston Salem State University.
